In 1994 the Government of Maharashtra and the Directorate of Technical Education, gave permission to Navodaya Shikshan Sanstha to start Shankarrao Dhawad Polytechnic on “No Grant – in – Aid” basis which has been recognized by All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi.

The Institution have successfully completed 18 years of its tenure and most of the students will be absorbed in various jobs & higher studies..
